Senior Software Developer (Backend / System Integration)

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled senior C#/ASP.NET developer with a strong background in building scalable applications and web services. As a senior developer, the primary responsibility is for building, documenting and maintaining back-end and web services for web and mobile applications. This person will work with a team of experienced developers and business resources to build highly-performing systems that improve efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  •   Work as part of the team in the coding and testing of code
  •   Single Sign On with Active Directory and potentially other LDAP providers
  •   Implement design specs accurately
  •   Develop back-end code to provide functionality to multi-platform front-end apps
  •   Provide detailed analysis and recommendations to the project lead
  •   Implement recommended design changes, unit tests and regression tests for both performance and data integrity
  •   Document all changes made

Skills / Attributes Required:

  • 8+ years of experience as a developer
  • 5+ years of experience developing back-end for web applications and web services with C#/ASP.NET
  • Hands on experience with ASP.NET MVC and Web API is a plus
  • Solid background developing .NET applications integrated with NoSQL databases
  • Solid understanding of Service Orientated Architecture (SOA)
  • Experience creating RESTful API
  • Experience with Active Directory, WIF, SSO and SAML
  • Good knowledge of the .NET Framework (.NET 4.x+)
  • Development experience with Enterprise Service Bus and Messaging Brokers
  • Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices, specially Agile and SCRUM
  • Experience with MDM (Mobile Device Managements) is a plus
  • Experience with Talend Platform is a plus
  • Experience with Apache Camel and ActiveMQ or similar tools is a plus
  • Experience with Dependency Injection Frameworks specially Castle Windsor is a plus
  • NoSQL database implementation. MongoDB knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing and complex environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary
